Meet The Team

We are a group of high-schoolers from New York that has joined an initiative and started an chapter in Brooklyn that aims to create face masks and face shields to donate them to local businesses, restaurants, and grocery stores that do not have any. The purpose of our project “Break the Outbreak – Brooklyn” is to assist the public in staying safe and healthy in these unprecedented times.

Emily Vayner

Marketing Committee Assistant Chair, Chapter Director – Brooklyn

I love being able to give back to my community, especially during a pandemic, and BTOB gives so much opportunity to do so. It is so important to me that people get the face masks and PPE they need. Having experience in leadership and marketing gives me the ability to get the word out to my community. This means exponential growth in BTOB team members and helping the small businesses we aim to reach. During COVID-19, I learned how to unite while isolating in a tight knit community. I am so proud to work on a large team as an assistant chair on BTOB’s Marketing Committee and as the Director of the Brooklyn Chapter.

I joined BTOB because I want to help my community, make sure they are safe, and help people in need. This pandemic has changed our lives, yet basic necessities like masks and face shields are scarce. Being Part of BTOB will allow me to make sure that people have the supplies they need in order to ensure their safety and flatten the curve.

I joined BTOB in order to give back to my community. The raging pandemic has ravaged cities and hurt families financially, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Ninette Setton

Production Co-Officer – Brooklyn

I joined BTOB because COVID has hit my family and I badly, and other families even worse. It has caused so many losses, simply because people do not know how to diminish the spread of the virus. This is the perfect opportunity to help stop the virus so no one else will have to experience loss and sickness.

Ariella Goloborodsky

Finance Co-Officer – Brooklyn

When I found out Break the Outbreak was starting a Brooklyn chapter I was eager to join, and thankful for this opportunity to help my community in such unprecedented times. In times such as these I realized that it is essential to do all in our power to help keep those around us protected and help flatten the curve of the Coronavirus, and that all starts within our communities. I will be serving on the financial team of BTOB BK, helping raise funds and distribute funds  to small businesses, and others in need, in order to give them the opportunity to buy the necessary PPE to keep them protected.
