Break the Outbreak

Meet The Team

We are a group of high-schoolers from New York that has joined an initiative and started an chapter in Brooklyn that aims to create face masks and face shields to donate them to local businesses, restaurants, and grocery stores that do not have any. The purpose of our project “Break the Outbreak – Brooklyn” is to assist the public in staying safe and healthy in these unprecedented times.

Emily Vayner

Marketing Committee Assistant Chair, Chapter Director – Brooklyn

I love being able to give back to my community, especially during a pandemic, and BTOB gives so much opportunity to do so. It is so important to me that people get the face masks and PPE they need. Having experience in leadership and marketing gives me the ability to get the word out to my community. This means exponential growth in BTOB team members and helping the small businesses we aim to reach. During COVID-19, I learned how to unite while isolating in a tight knit community. I am so proud to work on a large team as an assistant chair on BTOB’s Marketing Committee and as the Director of the Brooklyn Chapter.

Gabrianna Benderskaya

Communications Co-Officer, Marketing Co-Officer – Brooklyn

I joined BTOB because I want to help my community, make sure they are safe, and help people in need. This pandemic has changed our lives, yet basic necessities like masks and face shields are scarce. Being Part of BTOB will allow me to make sure that people have the supplies they need in order to ensure their safety and flatten the curve.

Sarah Vidal

Social Media Co-Officer, Marketing Co-Officer – Brooklyn

I believe that helping others during a time of need, especially with the current COVID-19 pandemic, is crucial. It would be my pleasure to help the community to the best of my ability by handling our marketing needs and managing our social media. This is a great time to give back to my community in Brooklyn, New York. Hopefully, I can help keep people safe and well protected through my services.

Shelly Zebak

Production Co-Officer – Brooklyn

I joined BTOB because I want to stop the spread of the CoronaVirus. I also love to help out in my community in any way I can. I always had a passion for giving back to others and bringing smiles to people’s faces. This is a way I can achieve that.

Natalie Nash

Communications Co-Officer – Brooklyn

I joined BTOB because I would like to be part of an organization that helps us fight against the CoronaVirus. COVID-19 has negatively impacted the entire world, so we should be doing everything we can to limit its spread. I believe that it is important to work together to make the world a better place, especially during difficult times like these.

Philip Zitser

Finance Co-Officer – Brooklyn

I joined BTOB in order to give back to my community. The raging pandemic has ravaged cities and hurt families financially, mentally, emotionally, and physically. I hope to help alleviate the stresses these families have by supplying them with the necessary funds and supplies in order to fight back against COVID in order to rebuild their lives back to normalcy.

Ninette Setton

Production Co-Officer – Brooklyn

I joined BTOB because COVID has hit my family and I badly, and other families even worse. It has caused so many losses, simply because people do not know how to diminish the spread of the virus. This is the perfect opportunity to help stop the virus so no one else will have to experience loss and sickness.

Ariella Goloborodsky

Finance Co-Officer – Brooklyn

When I found out Break the Outbreak was starting a Brooklyn chapter I was eager to join, and thankful for this opportunity to help my community in such unprecedented times. In times such as these I realized that it is essential to do all in our power to help keep those around us protected and help flatten the curve of the Coronavirus, and that all starts within our communities. I will be serving on the financial team of BTOB BK, helping raise funds and distribute funds  to small businesses, and others in need, in order to give them the opportunity to buy the necessary PPE to keep them protected.

Rebecca Aranbayev

Marketing Co-Officer – Brooklyn

I joined BTOB and am currently volunteering on the marketing committee. I joined BTOB because it will give me the advantage to help as many people as I can as many are in need of masks and PPE. Being able to diminish the spread of COVID has a large impact on many people.

Alisa Gleyzer

Production Co-Officer – Brooklyn

I joined Break the Outbreak because I really want to help stop the development of the virus. So many people were affected by Covid-19 over this past year and I still can’t wrap my mind around the fact that it still isn’t over. I think what the Break the Outbreak organization is doing is so helpful and I love being part of something so great.

Michelle Belenkiy

Communications Co-Officer – Brooklyn

I would like to be in this due to the fact that the Covid 19 pandemic is deadly and it is our job as the next generation to help stop the spread of the virus. It’s great to help the surrounding community and give back to people who need it.

Sivan Evenhar

Production Co-Officer – Brooklyn

I joined BTOB because I wanted to give back to my community and to stop the spread of the CoronaVirus. I think it is very important that people get all the protective equipment they need, especially if they don’t have it. I am very happy to be on board with this and am very excited to work with an amazing team.
