The Problem
The US currently faces a shortage of face shields and masks. Almost all medical-grade masks are being sent to hospitals and medical workers. Because of this, workers in the food industry such as restaurant owners, grocery store employees, and food bank volunteers are not left with enough masks to ensure their protection.
It is important to ensure that our community’s front line workers have the protection they need to best help us during these trying times.
