Break the Outbreak IN Middlesex
Meet The Team
We are a group of high schoolers that have joined this initiative, and started a Break the Outbreak chapter in Middlesex who aim to create face masks and face shields to donate them to local businesses, restaurants, seniors, hospital, care facility, grocery stores, and the general public that do not have much or any. The purpose of our organization is to assist the public in staying safe and healthy in these unprecedented times.

I joined BTOB because it provides me with the opportunity to help businesses mask up and stop the spread of the virus, which is meaningful to me considering that my family owns a business. I have witnessed first hand how difficult it can be for a business to stay safe during this time, and through this organization my peers and I can help relieve the stress of businesses who are struggling to limit the spread.

I wanted to be involved with this organization because I truly wish to do something meaningful with my free time. As someone who is privileged enough to not be affected by the pandemic to a large extent, I wanted to help those who are not as fortunate. Though my impact may not change the world, I’d like to help make even a few people happier and healthier.
